About All of Us BRIDGE at the AHDL

To further the All of Us mission in accelerating health research and medical breakthroughs around the core values of diversity, transparency, and accessibility, we are thrilled to announce the launch of Building Resilient Infrastructure for Diverse Groups in Education (BRIDGE). We aim to increase the capacity of individuals with the necessary skills to analyze complex data on the workbench. To accomplish this, BRIDGE will provide consultation and curriculum within the broader All of Us network to provide statistical support to investigators at all career stages through all stages of the research process.

We will provide support in the form of workshops and webinars available to the community of All of Us Researcher Workbench users around statistical and quantitative aid and curriculum development regarding All of Us-related NIH grants as well as individualized project support. Our goal is to use the All of Us platform to provide a high-quality resource for robust, reliable, and reproducible statistical support, and to educate and train the next generation of collaborative statisticians.

Milestone 1

Data Consultation and Grant Related Resource Allocation

We will provide 15 free hours/year per Workbench user, including webinars, workshops, and demonstration projects recordings available upon request.

Milestone 2

Intensive 2-week Workshop

An in-person summer workshop designed for postdocs and early- to mid-career faculty and All of Us Research Conference to provide training related to examining Electronic Health Record and Fitbit data in the All of Us Researcher Workbench.

The All of Us Research Program is a historic effort to collect and study data from one million or more people living in the United States. Their goal is to accelerate health research and medical breakthroughs, enabling individualized prevention, treatment, and care for everyone.

Milestone 3

Evaluation and Dissemination

We will perform a thorough assessment of the summer workshop and the quality of the technical assistance provided to the broader All of Us network members and submit the findings for publication.
